Project Manager / Scrum Engineer

The Project Manager / Scrum Engineer is a key player in delivering and coordinating value-add Professional services as part of a high-performance team. You will be accountable to drive the multi-million-euro Program’s delivering exceptional outcome for Avaya’s most important clients. About the Responsibilities

  • Partners with the customer to formulate and implement enterprise-wide business, organization and information communications technology strategies. Involved with and supported by the relevant technical resources from the customer and from Avaya, at each step in the process of designing and delivering integrated business and information communications solutions to support the enterprise’s accomplishment of business goals
  • Thought leader within the company for the strategical application of communications and systems integration
  • Responsible for the successful delivery of highly complex multi-vendor, multi-function and multi-site customer programs. Achieving outstanding business results such as customer satisfaction
  • Leading the creation of technicaal concepts to fulfill customer requirements in cooperation with development, logistics, service, and quality management
  • Leading development departments, sales, purchasing, logistics, and quality management to ensure the achievement of project goals (scope, time and budget)
  • Analyses business processes in an organization and makes recommendations to improve their effectiveness in supporting the customer’s strategical business goals.
  • This role is responsible for developing the disciplines and the business results of the engagements. Anticipates and identifies complex business needs and recommends solutions to complex problems.
  • Negotiating contracts with 3rd Parties and implementation of Quality controls
  • Executive Level communication of project progress in decision-making Steering committees and day to day communication
  • Independent structure, organization, and control of program structures and responsible for multiple virtual team members
  • Creation and development of highly complex, multi-phase project plans (MS Project)
  • Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management

About the Requirements

Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with additional technical certifications in VOIP and Verint WFO (5- 8+ years of proven industry experience working with Avaya solutions at Architecture, Design, Configuration and Implementation level.
  • B.S. or M.S in one or more of the following areas – Telecommunication Networks, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
  • Certification in Program Management (PMI, IPMA, Agile PM/Scrum)
  • Strong experience in agile Infrastructure Program’s
  • Strong Avaya UC and CC experience at solution level spanning multiple Avaya products
  • Ability to support multiple workstreams at any given time
  • Excellent communication skills on CxO Level including strong English language ability
  • Ability to work independently and in the team environments as well as with discipline in a Virtual Office environment
  • Result oriented
  • Calm leadership and highly self-organized
  • Travel is required on average between 30%-60% of the time and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a client’s environment

  • Experience in a scrum master role
  • Familiarity with software development
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
  • Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Crystal, XP etc.)
  • Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
